Arruda Doc wine is the only wine from Adega de Arruda that holds the DOC status. This means that only wines from this line have the full right to bear the name of the region where they are produced. It’s akin to Champagne in Champagne or Cognac from the Cognac region. Hence, the label design is clean and ceremonial. The packaging features the official coat of arms of the Arruda de Vinhos region, with permission sought and granted from the official authorities of the region. Our goal was to emphasize the prestige and standing of this wine in Portugal, and we hope to have achieved this to the fullest extent.
